Free Classified Ads

Posted by admin in Free Adboards at 9:47 am | Permanent Link

I discovered another very good free adboard where you can ad your ads completely for free.

You don’t even need to sign-up for anything.

For the moment I am only using the following 2 free adboards, and I’m very happy with the clicks I’m getting from them :

1) Business Free Ads

2) Free Classifieds

The two sites are very similar but have nothing to do with each other. This means that you reach a different audience with the two.

AdBoards – the undiscovered goldmine of visitor flow

Posted by admin in Free Adboards at 9:23 pm | Permanent Link

Marketers are frequently convinced that search engines and pay-per-click programs are genuine and reliable sources of visitors. Alternative ways of advertising are often being scouted. That’s so unnecessary!

After testing several different strategies of web promotion, the results were unexpectedly surprising: Free AdBoards can provide you with 5 to 60 unique and very interesting visitors every day.

I am not talking about websites of discussion forum type that allow advertising tons of all sorts of rubbish, but the simplified versions of Free Classifieds. Such Free AdBoards websites as www.BusinessFreeAd.com, www.ovgo.com or SkyAdBoard allow visitors to place their promotional text lines directly on the front page. New promotional headlines are placed on top of the list, by pushing the previous ones one line below. Some AdBoards allow placing a certain number of promotional lines with no additional conditions, while others require clicking on somebody else’s promotional line before letting you place your own headline. In order to advertise successfully on AdBoards, it is very important to know the audience of such websites and to understand some psychological moments.

The audience is here is very specific. 70 percent of AdBoards visitors are flouncing beginners that register with several promising affiliate programs and are feverishly trying to earn the promised piles of gold by advertising their programs without any strategy, in allowable and unallowable ways. They are willing to try out whichever “magic” way of marketing. 20 percent are webmasters and 10 percent are professionals that know exactly what they are doing and what their goals are. I would say that such flow of visitors is every trader’s dream!
And respectively, super magic web promotion and make money – quick and easy are the ads that receive the biggest attention of visitors.

The crucial element of success is correct understanding of psychological moments of advertising on Free AdBoard websites.

Keep it simple! Your promotional headline has about 5 seconds to draw the visitor’s attention. Therefore, the text of the message must be short, clear and gripping.
Remember – if the visitor understands the text he is interested in easily and clearly during a very short time, there is a huge possibility that he will click on it.

Use words that :

  • are short,
  • describe your product most exactly,
  • attract attention
  • and stimulate emotions.

Just because a program provides you with an opportunity to enter a long text, it doesn’t mean you have to grab it. In this case, the rule that applies is: less is more. When somebody eventually visits you website after clicking on your reference, you will be able to introduce the product in more detail. Perform this small test: imagine yourself as a visitor looking at your advertisement text for the first time. Would you be interested? Would you be able to understand its offer? If not, a lot of people are going to feel the same way.

Stay on top of the list!

Free AdBoards are highly trafficked sites. People often come back several times a day. Try to make sure that your advertisement is in front of their eyes every time. Personally, I would recommend programs that don’t include compulsory clicks. Such programs as BusinessFreeAd.com or ovgo.com send you less but higher quality visitors. If they have to click compulsorily, the visitors usually click on the first occurring headline and only wish to place their promotional line, without showing any interest in the website they open.

My personal statistics shows that, from 800 unique visitors visiting my website every day, around 30 come thanks to Free AdBoards. And from 56 new members registering every day, around 9 are the audience of Free AdBoards. This is an unusually high rate! And it proves my proposition: Free AdBoards is an undiscovered goldmine of visitor flow, possessing resources that will pleasantly surprise both a beginner and an experienced prairie wolf!

You can see a good example of a Free AdBoard here : BusinessFreeAd.com .

As a reader of my blog, you can add your own free ads or you can even start your own Free AdBoard.

AffiliateJunktion … my first payday !

Posted by admin in 1on40, Affiliate Junktion at 1:55 am | Permanent Link

Hi all,

as promised, an update. It is now the 21st and all the conditions to be pay are fullfilled now … and … indeed I got paid.

My counter was at $1423 but apparently this also includes declined sign-ups … Ok, a little misleading from their part maybe, but I still had $645 worth of real leads and $400+ worth of pending leads for the following payperiod. For the moment there are problems with Paypal they told me, so they sent a cheque by mail. I let you know when the cheque actually gets here.

But apparently everything is working out fine ! What a relief.

Don’t forget to check out the post on the 1On40 thing as well … I have been having a closer look and it really seems to be doing what they promise and it is still free until the end of march.

1on40.com : They promise to bring your site on nr.1 in 40 search engines

Posted by admin in 1on40 at 5:03 am | Permanent Link

Hi all,

yesterday I received a mail from one of my many free ads subscriptions, and I have actually read it.

It promoted a service 1On40.com. These people claim that they can get your website on the number 1 spot in 40 search engines (one of the 40 being Google or Yahoo) in 120 days for 5 keywords that you choose.

I don’t have a clue how they will do it, and I don’t really care, as long as they do it. For the moment this is still in beta-testing and this is also why the service is free for the moment (at least until end of march 2008).

It is absolutely free until your sites hits the number 1 spot. Once it is at number one (and thus, they have proven that they can do it) you can start bidding for your number 1 spot. If you don’t bid, your site will slide away from the topspot again.

I don’t know if it will work but I signed up right away and submitted 3 websites (www.affiliates-junktion.com (which you all know of course), www.pecunia.ws (my lottery site) and http://www.ictel.co.za (the cheap phone rates program only available for South-Africans).

I’ll keep you posted on the results.

You can check it out yourself at 1On40.com

If there are any people who have already tried it, please leave a comment to share your experience. I just discovered the site and don’t really know what to think of it but it sounds really good and since it’s free …

ListBuilders … what are they and what is the benefit ?

Posted by admin in Free Ads at 9:55 am | Permanent Link

Hi,

it has been a few days since I posted on my blog. As some of you know I started of with AffiliateJunktion as my first affiliate program and now I’m expanding this site with other affiliate program experiences and some ways to promote whatever program you are in.

In my previous post here I recommended FreeAdsDepot and TargetAdsDepot to create free Google-like ads that get displayed on members sites. And apparently this is working because I got a few new AJ-signups from them.

Now about ListBuilders …

When you have a list of people that explicitely choose to receive ads-mails or money-making opportunities, life gets a lot easier to promote whatever you want to promote. The problem is that building such lists cost you money or time. The past few days I have been looking at some of the possibilities (that were send to me due to my subscription to FreeAdsDepot and TargetAdsDepot :-)) and all of the services provide you with more or less the same functionalities :

As a free member (like me, since I’m only testing right now) you can :

  • Send mails to your complete own downline (usually once a day)
  • Receive only mails from your upline (which limits the amount of mails)
  • Some services offer the chance to mail to a number of random users from their members list (usually it will cost you 1 credit per person) once a week, month, …
  • Some of them offer a kind of “lottery” system where you could win a mailing to 1000’s of members (I personnaly like this idea, but I’m a real lottery player since years)
  • If anyone of your downline upgrades to the paying service you get a commision

As a paying member you usually have the following possibilities :

  • Mail 100, 1000, 10000, … members every day even if you don’t have your own downline
  • Automatically receive x downline members per day/week/month for ‘free’
  • Publish multiple ads at one time
  • Earn more credits for reading mails
  • Earn bigger commisions if someone from your downline signs up for the paying service
  • Get more “lottery tickets” for the free mailing

I just subscribed to about 10 different services and have noted that a number of them are clearly managed by the same people since the subscription forms are exactly the same, but who cares.

In fact I started by subscribing to ListJoe because from within ListJoe you can subscribe to all the others. The big advantage is that within ListJoe they are also publishing banners for all the other services and if you subscribe to them and then configure your ListJoe-account properly, all the banners to the other services will automatically contain your affiliate link. (By the way, this way of working is also applicable to FAD, TAD and some other listbuilding services, so do check the configuration options)

It is clear that you don’t have to believe me and start by subscribing to ListJoe, you could as well subscribe to only a few of the other ones that are promoted by them.

Here is the list of other services ListJoe promotes automatically for you :

That’s about it.

I signed up yesterday (and last night) and today I already have 2 members in my ListJoe downline. I have not a clue how they got there since I didn’t do any promotion yet, but I’m not complaining ;-)

I hope this post was and will be useful to you.

Regards,
David

Free Ad Depot vs. Target Ads Depot

Posted by admin in Affiliate Junktion, Free Ads at 5:12 pm | Permanent Link

As explained in the previous post Free Ad Depot (FAD) gives you the possibility to publish “google-ad-like” ads but completely for free (if you like you can pay for a more comfortable option that gives you even more exposure, but personally I’m sticking with the free option for the moment).

Target Ad Depot (TAD) on the other hand gives the opportunity to make ads that are very targetted (what’s in a name ?), but more importantly … this is the place where you earn credits by reading other people’s Ads (the window has to stay open for 20 seconds to earn 20 credits) and once you have earned enough credits you can transfer them to your Free Ad Depot (FAD) account to create additional ads or even banner and exit ads for which you would have to pay $15 or $20 if you don’t want to use credits.

I know it might seem complicated with the FAD and TAD stuff and so, but once you have created your account (I suggest to use the same username for both sites) it is really working very well.

Just give it a try and tell me what you think about it.

Once again I have put this post in both Affiliate Junktion and Free Ads category because I think it’s an excellent additional way to promote Affiliate Junktion or any other affiliate program you joined.

Nice and Free Way to Advertise

Posted by admin in Affiliate Junktion, Free Ads at 4:44 pm | Permanent Link

Hi,
I just stumbled upon a new site that allows you to publish free ads (they look a lot like the Google-ads). Since their site describes it perfectly I have been so free to copy it here (OK, it might sound a bit more hyped than if I would have written it myself, but since it really works as they say I’ll forgive them ;-))

Have you ever dreamed of having the perfect free place to advertise?

Have you even dreamed of being able to make money at an advertising site without having to pay a dime?

Have you even dreamed of mailing to a list of new prospects every week?

Have you ever dreamed of targeting your ads to ‘Warm Prospects’ in the categories you choose?

You can wake up now.

Your dream is now a reality at… Free Ad Depot (FAD)
Grab your free…

  • Featured links ads
  • Free Classy Style Ads
  • Plus multiple ways to earn money

Now at… Free Ad Depot (FAD)
You can earn free ad credits and free mailing credits by clicking other members ads, banners or email links too.
And watch closely for the special bonus offer you’ll see when you signup.
You’ll find it all at Free Ad Depot

The Free Ad Depot site also has a ’sister-site’ called ‘Targeted Ad Depot’. In my next post I’ll explain the difference/interaction between the two.

Since I thought it is also an excellent way to promote AffiliateJunktion I have put this post in both categories.
